Description

Perception, a Codazen product, is a platform for creative professionals that builds and analyzes color palettes using color psychology, so designers can choose colors that match an intended mood.

What I did

  • Built the initial user-facing app UI, the experience behind login, in React and Next.js from the in-house designers' Figma designs, with a small component library.
  • Helped build the initial API and the login UI, though not the authentication itself.
  • Set up the project's initial cloud infrastructure on AWS: CI/CD through CodePipeline and GitHub, Elastic Beanstalk for the services, S3 for the user images used in color analysis, RDS for user data, and CloudFront for delivery.
  • Used a headless CMS to manage the marketing pages.
  • Worked directly with the in-house designers on the UI and user experience.
